Brundage Mountain Transforms a Historic Building Into Move-In Ready Employee Housing

Brundage Mountain Resort’s ongoing efforts to expand employee housing took a big leap forward this week with the completion of a unique remodeling project. Last spring, Brundage Mountain purchased a 10,000 square foot stucco building in New Meadows. The building served as Meadows Valley’s High School from 1940 into the early 1970s. The local landmark was completely remodeled over the summer and fall and saw its first new residents move in this month. Read More

Starting this Friday, December 9, the Bear Chair and Lakeview Triple Chairs will be added to the mix. The Bear and Jammer runs will offer two sets of freestyle terrain park features.   Read More

Opening Day Letter from General Manager, Ken Rider

Opening Day is always an exciting time, and with three feet of fresh snow falling this week, we’re even more stoked to welcome skiers and riders to the mountain. This year's December 2 opening will go down as one of the earliest full-time openings in recent memory. Over the last 16 seasons, Brundage Mountain has opened by December 2 only one other time, which was in 2020. The storms that hit us over and over this week have truly transformed the mountain, but snowfall alone doesn’t make Opening Day possible. Read More

A Special Note for our Bear Chair Guests

It’s pretty typical for us to open full time operations before we can open the Lakeview Lift, the Easy Rider conveyor. What’s not as typical is for Brundage Mountain to open full time without operating the Bear Chair, so we wanted to offer a bit more information on why that’s happening this year. Read More
