Learn to Ski or Snowboard

The Starter PAK is Brundage Mountain’s complete learn-to-ski or snowboard program designed exclusively for first-time participants. With personalized instruction, rental equipment, lift access, and a season pass earned upon completion, the program removes the common barriers to getting started and provides a clear path toward confidence and independence on the mountain.

Whether you choose skiing or snowboarding, you’ll learn through four private lessons tailored to your pace and goals. Between lessons, you can continue practicing in the Beartopia Learning Area using your included rental equipment and lift tickets. After successfully completing all four lessons, you’ll receive a full 2026–27 Brundage Mountain Season Pass and can continue your mountain journey for the rest of the season.

Starter PAK is more than a lesson package. It is your first step toward a lifetime of skiing or snowboarding.

Eligibility

Starter PAK is available exclusively to new skiers and snowboarders who have never held a Brundage Mountain Season Pass.

Program Capacity

Starter PAK is limited to 100 participants for the 2026–27 season.

Lesson Scheduling

• Advance reservations are recommended
• Participants may complete a maximum of one lesson per day
• All four lessons must be completed during the 2026–27 winter season
• Unused lessons do not roll over to future seasons

Equipment

Ski or snowboard rental equipment is included for the four days of lessons.

Lift Tickets

Four daily Beartopia lift tickets are included for independent practice. These tickets are valid in the Beartopia Learning Area only when participants are not accompanied by their instructor.

Season Pass

Participants receive a full 2026–27 Brundage Mountain Season Pass after successfully completing all four lessons.

Transfers

Starter PAK is nontransferable and may only be used by the registered participant.

Blackout Dates

There are no blackout dates for Starter PAK lessons.

Cancellation Policy

Mountain Sports School products have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time will be charged the full rate of the purchased product.
