Base Area Access Closed for Fall 2021

As summer turns to fall, Brundage Mountain Resort is already working hard to gear up for Winter 2021-22 and for future plans, and that work includes some significant construction and logging in and around the Brundage base area. These projects will require complete closure of public access to the lodge and parking facilities for several weeks STARTING SEPTEMBER 7.

Brundage Mountain Welcomes Chef Sam Hess, Introduces Other Key Players in New Roles

Brundage Mountain Resort is excited to welcome Sam Hess as the resort’s new Executive Chef. Hess brings 20 years of experience to the position. Sam is trained in the classic French style and has honed his culinary craft over the years by working in award-winning kitchens in New Orleans and Orlando. Hess has trained under Emeril Legasse, among other James Beard award winners, and has developed original restaurant concepts in Texas and the Bahamas. In recent years, Sam has been at the helm of some of Central Idaho’s finest restaurants.

Brundage Mountain Opens Summer Season Friday, June 18

Brundage Mountain’s Summer Season is set to open Friday, June 18, kicking off an action-packed lineup of summer activities and outdoor events. Brundage Mountain will be open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays June 18-20 and June 25-27. Wednesday through Sunday operations begin June 30, with Bonus Days Monday, July 5, Tuesday, July 6 and Monday, September 6.

Ride the Blue Line: The Bigger, Better Bluebird Express Shuttle is Ready to Hit the Road!

The new Blue Line will operate on Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm, looping through the downtown corridor area (Super 8 to the Brundage Inn). On holiday weekends, it will run Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The new route will run all summer through Labor Day Weekend, then transition for its winter service to Brundage Mountain.

The last few days of any ski season always bring mixed bag of feelings and emotions. The entire Brundage Team would like to say thank you to YOU, all of our guests, for helping us get through the season. It wasn’t easy. There were some challenges. It wasn’t always fun. But in the end, we had some great times, we got to ski the Best Snow in Idaho, we had some amazing powder days, some fantastic bluebird sunny spring groomer days and had a ton of fun during this 135 day long ski season…all while keeping the Brundage vibe alive and sharing this all with you!

February 2021 Goes Down in the Books as Second Snowiest February on Record

A seemingly endless series of storms has dumped copious amounts of powder on Brundage Mountain, giving the resort its second snowiest February since monthly totals have been recorded. Brundage Mountain got measurable snowfall on 21 out of the 28 days in February, with a total of 88 inches of new accumulation at the base elevation and 93 inches at the summit.
