Brundage Mountain is Hosting a FREE Music Festival and Expanding Hours for Fourth of July Week


Brundage Mountain is celebrating Independence Day 2022 with 5k/10k running events, an all-day concert and two extra days of operations.

Brundage Mountain is now open Wednesdays through Sundays, with Bonus Days on Monday, July 4 & Tuesday, July 5. The Bluebird Express chairlift runs from 10 am – 4:30 pm on operating days.

Summer season highlights include scenic chairlift rides, hiking trails, a nine-hole disc golf course and slope-side dining at Smoky’s Bar & Grill, as well as cross-country and lift-served mountain biking.

The Brundage Bike Park is now offering lift-served mountain biking from top to bottom. Trail crews are working hard to open a handful of snow-covered bike trails and hiking trails that originate at the summit. Hikers and bikers can check for new trail openings at

Fourth of July Cat Track Runs and Music Fest

The Fourth of July Action kicks off Monday morning with the popular Cat Track 5k/10k running events (Pre-register by Midnight, Saturday, July 2) followed by an all-day concert on the plaza stage. The grassy Brundage amphitheater is a great place to spread out a blanket and enjoy the day. This year’s lineup includes Matt Hopper, Corn Mash and Lucky Tongue. The Music Fest runs from 10:15 am – 5 pm and admission is FREE.

TGIF Summer Concert Series

Music lovers can enjoy a string of Friday evening performances from the terraced grass amphitheater or the balcony outside Smoky’s Bar & Grill starting Friday, July 8. Friday concerts run from 6 – 9 pm and admission is FREE.

FREE Yoga on the Mountain – Every Wednesday at 11 am

The Brundage base area is a beautiful place to enjoy fresh air and the sounds of nature. Brundage is offering free yoga sessions on Wednesdays, from 11 am to noon, starting June 29. All ages and skill levels are welcome, guests are asked to bring their own yoga mats and sign a waiver prior to the start of practice.
