MTN Explorers Programs
MTN Explorers Programs give children the opportunity to build confidence, develop skills, explore Brundage Mountain, and create lasting friendships through guided instruction and shared mountain experiences. From convenient weekend lessons to multi-session programs and seasonal camps, each experience is designed to support continued learning, independence, and a lifelong connection to skiing and snowboarding.
MTN Explorers Club
Age 3-12
MTN Explorers Club is Brundage Mountain’s weekend ski and snowboard program for children ages 3-12. Whether your child is making their first turns or continuing to build confidence on the mountain, our instructors create engaging days filled with guided learning, mountain exploration, friendships, and fun.
Available as a Half-Day or Full-Day experience, MTN Explorers Club includes instruction, equipment rentals if needed, lift access, and lunch in one convenient package. While your child enjoys time on the mountain, parents and guardians have the flexibility to ski, ride, take a lesson, enjoy Brundage’s dining options, or make the most of their own day.
For children ages 3-6, the Full-Day option includes a seamless afternoon transition to Brundage Daycare following lunch, extending their mountain experience until 5pm.

- Half-Day Pick-Up: Between 12:30pm and 1pm during lunch

MTN Explorers Academy
Age 7-12
MTN Explorers Academy is a six-session alpine ski program designed for children who are ready to commit to continued learning throughout the winter. Students ski with the same instructor and peers during each session, creating consistency, strengthening relationships, and supporting steady skill development over multiple weeks.
With a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, Academy provides focused instruction in a small group setting while giving young skiers opportunities to explore more of Brundage Mountain. Families may choose the Saturday or Sunday session that best fits their winter schedule.

MTN Explorers Holiday Camp
Age 7-12
MTN Explorers Holiday Camp gives young skiers four consecutive days of consistent instruction and mountain exploration during the Christmas holiday break. Students ski with the same instructor and peers each day, allowing confidence, skills, and friendships to grow throughout the camp.
Small group sizes and a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio create a supportive learning environment where participants can continue developing their skiing while exploring more of Brundage Mountain. Lunch and lift access are included, making Holiday Camp a convenient and rewarding winter break experience for local and visiting families.

MTN Explorers Spring Freestyle Camp
Age 7-12
MTN Explorers Spring Freestyle Camp gives young skiers and snowboarders five days to explore introductory freestyle skills in a fun, collaborative learning environment. Designed for capable skiers and riders who are new to freestyle or want to strengthen their foundational skills, the camp encourages students to build confidence, use terrain creatively, and learn alongside their peers.
Alpine skiers and snowboarders participate together with guidance from the Mountain Sports School team. A shared instructional model allows students to learn from multiple instructors while exploring freestyle terrain and features throughout Brundage Mountain.

Need to Know
Advance Reservations
Advance reservations are required for all MTN Explorers Programs. Same-day bookings are not available.
Participant Readiness
Participants in MTN Explorers Academy, Holiday Camp, and Spring Freestyle Camp must:
- Be comfortable riding chairlifts independently
- Confidently ski or snowboard groomed blue terrain
- Be comfortable exploring varied terrain across the mountain
- Be able to manage their own equipment
Minimum Enrollment
MTN Explorers Academy, Holiday Camp, and Spring Freestyle Camp require minimum enrollment to operate. Brundage Mountain may combine or cancel sessions that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
Equipment and Lift Tickets
- MTN Explorers Club includes rental equipment if needed and a lift ticket.
- MTN Explorers Academy, Holiday Camp, and Spring Freestyle Camp include a lift ticket if needed.
- Rental equipment is not included with Academy, Holiday Camp, or Spring Freestyle Camp.
Lunch
Lunch is included with all MTN Explorers Programs. Dietary information is collected during registration when applicable.
Missed Classes
No make-up sessions are available for missed Academy or Camp days.
Weather and Operations
Academy, Holiday Camp, and Spring Freestyle Camp operate in all weather conditions unless lift operations are suspended.
Cancellation Policy
Mountain Sports School products have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled program start time will be charged the full price of the purchased product.
