Private Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Whether you’re taking your very first turns, refining specific skills, or exploring more advanced terrain, a Private Lesson offers personalized instruction designed around your goals. Your instructor will tailor the lesson to your ability, pace, and interests, creating a learning experience that builds confidence, develops skills, and helps you make the most of your day on the mountain.

Private Lessons provide the flexibility to focus on what matters most to you. From mastering the fundamentals to exploring new terrain, you’ll receive one-on-one guidance and individualized feedback in a supportive environment. Lessons may also be shared with family or friends of similar ability, making them a great option for learning together.

Age 7 & Up

Designed for skiers and snowboarders ages 7 and older, Private Lessons provide personalized instruction tailored to your goals, ability level, and preferred pace. Whether you’re learning for the first time, building confidence, developing new skills, or exploring more of the mountain, your instructor will customize the lesson to create a rewarding experience.

Lesson Times

  • Full Day: 9:30am – 4pm (6 hours)
  • Half Day: 9:30am – 12:30pm or 1pm – 4pm (3 hours)
  • 90 Minute: 9:30am – 11am, 11am – 12:30pm, 1pm – 2:30pm, or 2:30pm – 4pm

Age 3-6

Tiny Tracks introduces children ages 3-6 to skiing through a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experience. Available as either a 90-minute or Half-Day lesson, Tiny Tracks provides personalized instruction designed around each child’s pace, interests, and comfort level.

Our experienced instructors create a safe, encouraging environment where young skiers and riders build confidence, develop fundamental skills, and discover the joy of mountain sports through guided learning and play. Lessons are taught using nationally recognized PSIA/AASI children’s teaching principles by instructors trained to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Parents who are comfortable skiing on green terrain are welcome to accompany the lesson at no additional charge. Parent participation is intended to support the child’s experience and does not include instruction for the accompanying adult.

  • Half Day: 9:30am – 12:30pm or 1pm – 4pm
  • 90 Minute: 9:30am – 11am, 11am – 12:30pm, 1pm – 2:30pm, or 2:30pm – 4pm

Private Lessons and Tiny Tracks lessons do not include rental equipment. If needed, ski or snowboard rentals can be added during the booking process or reserved separately in advance.

Holiday pricing applies during the following dates:

  • January 16 – 18, 2027

Cancellation Policy

Mountain Sports School lessons have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Lessons canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time will be charged the full lesson price.
