Brundage Mountain Resort wrapped another successful summer of live music by celebrating the local nonprofits that helped make its TGIF Concert Series especially meaningful to the community.

Each of the eight organizations who partnered with Brundage for the “Good Music. Good Deeds.” program was presented with a $1,000 check at the final concert of the season on September 4.

Each Friday, a local nonprofit joined concertgoers on the lawn, shared information about its mission and “passed the boot” to collect donations. The TGIF crowds contributed an average of approximately $500 each week. Brundage Mountain and the Brundage Mountain Community Fund are supplementing those donations to bring the total awarded to each organization up to $1,000.

“One of our favorite parts of the TGIF Concert Series is sharing Friday nights with the nonprofits that do so much for the community we call home,” Brundage Mountain General Manager Ken Rider said.

“Our guests showed their generosity week after week, and we’re proud to build on that support so each organization receives $1,000 to further its mission.”

The eight participating nonprofits are:

  • McCall Winter Sports Club
  • Meadows Valley Early Learning Center
  • McCall Arts & Humanities Council
  • Central Idaho Mountain Bike Association
  • Friends of the Payette Avalanche Center
  • McCall Composite Youth Mountain Bike Team
  • AWeSOMe!

“These organizations help make Valley and Adams County such a special place to live, work and play,” Rider said. “We’re grateful for everything they contribute—and for every person who tossed a few dollars into the boot this summer. Those dollars add up, and together they make a real difference.”

The nonprofit partnership is part of the TGIF Concert Series’ “Good Music. Good Deeds.” program, which pairs free Friday-night concerts with opportunities to give back. Brundage Mountain Holdings LLC created the Brundage Mountain Community Fund in 2022 to provide general operating support to nonprofits serving West Central Mountain communities, based on the belief that a thriving community benefits everyone who lives, works and plays here.
