Judd & Diane DeBoer Honored by Payette Lakes Ski Patrol, NSP

Brundage Mountain Owners, Judd & Diane DeBoer accept their awards on Saturday, April 6 at the annual PLSP Banquet at North Fork Lodge.

The Payette Lakes Ski Patrol is a member organization of the National Ski Patrol that provides paid and volunteer ski patrol services to Brundage Mountain Resort and The Little Ski Hill. The National Ski Patrol(NSP) recognizes this outstanding service to the community through a series of national awards that recognize significant contributions or support of the skiing industry.

One of the highest awards provided by the NSP is the Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes individuals who have provided a an extraordinary service to the national ski patrol or the skiing community for a minimum of 20 years. Members of the Payette Lake Ski Patrol recognize the significant contribution of Judd DeBoer to the ski patrol and the skiing public through his support and development of Brundage Mountain Resort. Mr. DeBoer has been a strong supporter and a constant influence in the skiing industry for over 50 years. He supported the development of Brundage Mountain Resort as a local family oriented ski area, while also supporting the services of the National Ski Patrol and Payette Lakes.

For these reasons, Payette Lakes Ski Patrol and Brundage Mountain Resort recognized Judd DeBoer with the National Ski Patrol Distinguished Service Award for ensuring Brundage Mountain Resort receives the best possible patrol services and highest safety standards for the skiing community.

The National Ski Patrol has a correlating award recognizing non-national ski patrol members who have provided a consistent and ongoing extraordinary service to the skiing industry with the NSP Angel Pin. Payette Lakes Ski Patrol recognizes Diane DeBoer has also been a significant contributor and supporter of Brundage Mountain Resort and she was awarded the NSP Angel Pin.
