Brundage Mountain Keeps the Weekend Fun Going Through September

08/26/26
Chairlift Service Every Saturday, Beer & Gear, The Brundage Car show and Oktoberfest offer four more reasons for a weekend road trip

Labor Day weekend may mark the end of regular summer operations at Brundage Mountain Resort, but it won’t mark the end of fresh air fun. Saturday lift service and a lively lineup of music, community gatherings and family-friendly events will give Treasure Valley residents plenty of reasons to plan a September road trip.

The month begins with the final TGIF Concert of the summer, featuring Valley County native and longtime crowd favorite Jeff Crosby. The following Saturdays bring Summer Beer & Gear, the second annual Brundage Car Show and the return of Oktoberfest, a fundraiser for MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.

Saturdays in September Chairlift Service

The Bluebird Express will operate from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Saturday in September, giving guests continued access to scenic chairlift rides and lift-served mountain biking. There are 30+ miles of DH and XC single track in the Brundage Bike Park, and Brundage’s backcountry bike shuttle will also be available Saturdays with advanced reservations (space is limited). On-mountain camping will remain open daily throughout September for those looking for an extended adventure. Summer lift tickets are 50% off when purchased online.

“September is one of the best times to be on the mountain,” said Brundage Mountain Resort General Manager Ken Rider. “The cooler temperatures are great for biking, the views start to take on a fall feel and every weekend offers a different reason to come up and spend the day with us.”

September Event Lineup

Friday, Sept. 4: TGIF Concert Series With Jeff Crosby

Brundage closes out its free TGIF Concert Series with one of the summer’s most anticipated performances. Raised in Donnelly, Idaho, Jeff Crosby has built an international following with his distinctly Idaho-rooted Americana sound.

Opening duo Beaver Drop takes the stage at 5:30 p.m., followed by Jeff Crosby from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The outdoor bar and snack shack will be open, and Smoky’s Bar & Grill will offer extended hours and its full menu. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the concert venue.

Admission is free, and no tickets are required.

Saturday, Sept. 12: Summer Beer & Gear

Brundage is giving its popular winter Beer & Gear event a warm-weather twist from noon to 4 p.m. Summer Beer & Gear will showcase outdoor equipment, apparel and accessories designed for adventures in the Payette National Forest.

The event will also feature local breweries and seasonal beer selections, live music and a Nonprofit Row introducing guests to organizations that help support the McCall and Valley County community. Beer-tasting tickets will be available for guests 21 and older. Admission to the event is free.

Saturday, Sept. 19: Brundage Car Show

The second annual Brundage Car Show brings an eclectic collection of high-end vehicles, classic cars, local rat rods and other distinctive rides to the mountain from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event includes live music and a Kids Zone with face painting and lawn games. Anyone who brings a vehicle to display will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2026-27 Brundage Mountain season pass.

Vehicle staging begins at 9 a.m., and the show opens at 10 a.m. Admission is free for spectators and participants.

Saturday, Sept. 26: McPaws Oktoberfest

Brundage will cap its September celebration with a full afternoon of cold beer, food, live music and Bavarian-inspired fun at Oktoberfest, set for noon to 6 p.m.

The festival will feature stein-holding contests, the Kegstacle Challenge, a costume contest for people and pets, raffle prizes and a Kids Zone with lawn games, face painting and free pumpkin painting. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

Admission is $20 for guests 21 and older, while those younger than 21 attend free. The first 500 guests will receive a commemorative Oktoberfest stein, and free event shuttles will be available.

Proceeds from Oktoberfest support the care and adoption programs at MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.

Online registration is $30, day-of registration is $40 and children 10 and younger participate free.
