HERE IT IS!!

01/17/12

The much anticipated powder days are here again.  With nearly 9″ of new snow in the past 24 hours, 7 of which fell over night, the spirit of the mountain was reborn.  Spirits lifted and snow falling hard from the sky.  Everyone is feeling the excitement.

While riding up the chair in the silence of snowfall all you can hear are the hoots, hollers  and laughter of skiers and boarders in the distance.  The soft fluffy snow bringing new life and joy to the slopes and giving everyone that powder fix they have been needing.

The forecast is in our favor, with up to 3 feet of new snowfall by the weekend.  Check out the forecast totals for yourself.

Here are some hungry powder hounds waiting to indulge their appetites.

And here is what was waiting for them…..

A face full of light fluffy powder!!

The snow continues to fall, and there is plenty for everyone.  And as the Winter Storm Warning reminds us – there is plenty more to come all week long. Grab your gear and get up here!

KEEP THE FUN ALIVE
