Top 5 Ways to Have True Brundage FUNdage this Weekend

01/12/12

It’s Thursday, and if you’re like me, that means your thoughts are starting to wander and focus more and more on what you’re going to do this weekend. Especially this weekend, when some of us get Monday off, too!

Here at Brundage Mountain, we have all kinds of fun stuff planned for this weekend. We call it “FUNdage”.

Here’s our Top 5 List for this 3-day weekend:

1. Ski. (Duh) Or Ride. Whatever
That snow storm that rolled through on Tuesday has done WONDERS for our slopes. The groomed runs are soft and silky and with SUPER low temperatures expected overnight for many days to come, they should remain in top shape for this weekend.

2. Hug a Big Bear – Come say hello to Bruno. Brundage Mountain’s furry new mascot can’t wait to hit the slopes this weekend and make some new friends. He’ll be hanging out near the Kid Center from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.

3. Take a BEER-B-QUE breakWe’re firing up the grill in the lower parking lot, serving $5 burgers and hot dogs and $2.50 PBRs.

Enjoy your BEER-B-QUE break under the sunshine or warm up in our cozy yurt. The BEER-B-QUE will be rolling at the lower end of the lower lot from noon to 5 Saturday and Sunday.

4. Learn  the Legend of Smoky – Not Smoky Bear, OUR Smoky. He is the namesake of our new restaurant, Smoky’s Bar & Grill. Come on in and check out this newly-expanded space on the second floor of our lodge, which now includes a family-friendly area as well as a larger adults-only space. Ask one of our servers to share the legend of Smoky (why DOES he wear that eye patch?) and become a part of Brundage history yourself!

5. Pray for Powder with a SHOTSKI – For those over 21 – we’re sending our sacrifices to the Snow Gods one SHOTSKI at a time. You’ll be appeasing ULLR each time you saddle up to the bar for our six-shooter shot ski. Friends required. Designated driver recommended.
