Smilin' and Stylin'

02/03/13

Our annual ‘Girlfriend Getaway’ weekend sparkled brighter than ever this year.

We’ve been enjoying the fantastic slope conditions and sunshine all weekend long.

Not only did we see an extra large collection of smiling faces, but our Diva Day visitors always seem to up the ante when it comes to style, too.

The main focus of the event is spending quality time together doing something fun and active.

Mother Nature (the original diva) provided  a beautiful backdrop to make that happen.

We saw all manner of Diva combos taking advantage -Double Divas:

Diva plus Diva in Training…

Divas-on-deck…

Diva with bearded bodyguard (?)

And – the ever-popular Diva-on-display – with an abundance of accessorizing:

Don’t get me wrong, there was a good share of male energy on the mountain, too.

But the whole thing seemed to be too much for this young chap who took a moment to cool down in a snowbank:

It was tough to leave the slopes on a day like this, but there were exciting things happening inside, too.

We were pleased to have the folks from Komen for the Cure on site to focus on women’s wellness and breast health through interactive displays and fun giveaways.

Our friends from McCall’s own Spa Del Sol generously sponsored the event for the fifth year in a row.

They provided free chair massages on the third floor to bring a little bit of pampering and a nice, soft touch to the event.

Spa Del Sol is also the driving force behind our happy hour drawing. They provided three fantastic spa packages for a girlfriend getaway giveaway.

But it was our Divas themselves who provided the great energy for the weekend’s events. Check out the back of this t-shirt:

This lively group printed them up especially for their annual trip.

The t-shirts were DEFINITELY good luck – these ladies won two of our three spa packages!

Our employees got into to the Diva Day spirit this year, too.

We’re always happy to host this lively bunch.

And many of our male guests were smiling and styling, too.

See you next year!

– April
