McCall Farmers' Market is Set to Open July 15 at the Activity Barn

07/07/20

The McCall Farmers’ Market will be back in business at a new location starting Wednesday, July 15. Shoppers will find the same fresh, locally-produced foods and goods they’ve come to expect, now on the spacious grounds of McCall’s Activity Barn, at 141 Moonridge Drive.

The Market will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm, through October.

The Activity Barn site offers plentiful parking and wide open areas for vendors and shoppers to spread out while they shop.

“We were delighted when the management of the Activity Barn suggested we use their beautiful meadow for the Farmers’ Market this summer,” said Susan Marshall, McCall Farmers’ Market Manager. “The site is a mere 2.5 miles south of McCall on a leisurely country road. The location will provide plenty of room for parking and social distancing in an idyllic setting. Once they breathe in the fresh country air, we believe our customers will be just as excited as we are.”

“When we heard the market was feeling the pinch at its traditional location, we naturally wanted to help,” said Ken Rider, General Manager of Brundage Mountain, which operates the Activity Barn. “Farmers’ Markets are a valuable community resource and we are thrilled we could help the McCall Market find a workable solution for this season.”

Due to recent spikes of COVID-19 in our community, the market will be following the guidelines of the Central District Health and the City of McCall. Mask and social distancing will be required.
