Inch By Inch...

11/16/10

With ten inches of fresh snow this week and an ENCOURAGING weekend forecast, we thought it was time to check in with some fresh photos and factoids for your anticipointment…

Here are some pretty pictures from a few days ago, when we had fresh snow in the parking lot…

and a little sun got us excited about the looks of upper slopes, like Engen.

Since then, we’ve had some freeze/thaw action, some high winds and then, another couple inches of fresh snow.

Here’s a link to the ‘official word‘ as of Tuesday, November 16. The forecast is looking promising, we even have a Hazardous Weather Outlook, and are pinning our latest hopes on these words:

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY
STRONG ARCTIC AIRMASS TO ENTER THE AREA FROM THE PAC NW AND CAUSE
A PATTERN CHANGE INTO COLD WINTERY WEATHER.

Let’s hope that lasts, because we are primed and ready to go…just waiting on Mother Nature’s blessing to get us started.
