The Happiest Place on Earth

02/03/14

020314027I know that there’s a famous cartoon mouse with an amusement park that technically holds the trademark for ‘the happiest place on earth…’

HOWEVER…

If you were here at Brundage this morning, you know we gave Disneyland a run for the title. We woke up to another 5 inches of fresh, fluffy snow this morning.

THEN, the sun popped out just as the lifts starting towing the lucky  powder lovers up the mountain. Personally, I underestimated the glory of the occasion. I was expecting to find a few stashes that were knee-deep. I did find some knee-deep turns on the runs groomed last night. I also found more faceshots than I ever imagined!

But, enough talk. Here are the photo highlights from one of the best Monday mornings on record. (Click on any photo for a larger view of all the photos):

For those keeping track, we’ve had 19″ of fresh snow in the past week. Temperatures are expected to be in the single digits and low teens all week long, with a chance of fresh snow on the radar all week long.

The happy dances continue…
