Fall is Here, is SNOWFall Near?

09/23/11

The first day of fall is a quietly exciting time up here at Brundage Mountain. The morning air is growing more crisp and fall colors are just beginning to show on the mountain. Naturally, our thoughts fast-forward to late Fall, when the snowflakes start dropping and our excitement turns to downright giddiness!

This year, we’ve got a couple reasons to get even MORE excited. While predicting exactly when we will get enough snow to open is literally impossible, we’re getting some encouraging signs about the overall prospects for our season. Earlier this month, weather experts upgraded a “La Nina Watch” to a “La Nina Advisory”. Read more here. That means we could be headed for back-to-back La Nina winters.

And while every La Nina season manifests itself a little differently, the last time we had back-to-back La Nina seasons, we got more than 400 inches of season snowfall! That’s up there with the best powder years EVER here at Brundage. So hit the gym and don’t cut your snow dances short, because this one could be epic!

The second reason we’re getting extra excited this autumn is because our 50th Anniversary is in November. In honor of that milestone, we are offering some amazing new products and amazing deals on favorite products.

Imagine getting an unlimited Season Pass, PLUS a full-day SnowCat Trip, PLUS a full-day high performance rental, PLUS a two-hour private coaching session, all for the current price of an Adult Season Pass – $489. We call it the “Best of Brundage” Pass Package, and it’s a deal we’re offering starting November 4th, to the first 50 people who purchase.

That’s just one of the great new products you’ll find for a limited time only during our “Best of Brundage” Anniversary Sale. We’ve tried to include something for everyone – the mid-week bargain hunter – the family interested in lessons for their kids – and even our less-frequent visitors who may not visit quite enough to invest in a season pass.

Check out the deals and please let us know what you think. We want as many snow lovers as possible here to help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary season!

– April
