Escape the Heat & Fourth of July Crowds at Brundage Mountain

06/25/24

Brundage Mountain Resort is extending its hours and hosting fun, free events for the Fourth of July holiday, allowing holiday travelers to escape the valley heat and the crowds in McCall.

Brundage Mountain will be open every day from Wednesday, June 26 through Sunday, July 7, 2024. Summer season highlights include scenic chairlift rides, hiking trails, a NEW nine-hole disc golf course and slope-side dining at Smoky’s Bar & Grill, along with cross-country and lift-served mountain biking on 30+ miles of trails in the Brundage Bike Park.

The independently owned resort is hosting a fun run and free music festival on Thursday, July 4, then kicking off its TGIF summer concert series on Friday, July 5. The resort is also providing free live music on the patio at Smoky’s Bar & Grill on Saturday afternoons.

“The first week of July always brings tons of people to the McCall area and Payette Lake,” says

Brundage Mountain General Manager, Ken Rider. “Brundage offers fun options for those looking to explore the mountains on foot or bike and for anyone who likes to relax and enjoy live music outdoors. Our higher elevation gives us cooler temperatures, so folks can come up and do something active without overheating too much.”

The Bluebird Express runs from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on operating days. Smoky’s Bar & Grill is open from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm with expanded hours on Fridays and Saturdays (until 8:00 pm)  and for Sunday brunch (open at 10:00 am). Summer Activities

2024 Fourth of July Music Fest & Fun Run:

Admission is FREE and the terraced lawn is a great place to spread out a blanket and enjoy the day away from the downtown crowds. This year’s musical lineup includes Andy Crosby, the Dusty Huckleberries and Bread & Circus. The Music Fest runs from 10:15 am – 5:30 pm. Fourth of July Music Fest
