Brundage Mountain Cat Skiing - The Best Deal Around

11/10/11

It’s a little early in the season for me to get all giddy about backcountry snow cat skiing. Normally, mid-January through the end of March is the prime time to be daydreaming about this amazing adventure.

But this year is a game-changer.

Right now, we are offering an incredible deal, which includes an unlimited Season Pass, a full-day Backcountry Snow Cat Adventure, a two-hour private coaching session and a full-day performance rental, all for just $489. Read more here. You don’t have to be a business school ace to recognize the VALUE in that package.

Value = Benefits / Cost

The cost of our Snow Cat Adventure becomes ridiculously low when you bundle it all up.

But what some may not be aware of is the benefit side of that equation. Perhaps you’ve never tried a day of Snow Cat Skiing here at Brundage. Perhaps you’ve heard the stories, but can’t quite picture YOURSELF out there in the untouched bounty of backcountry powder.

Perhaps I can help.

These photos were taken on March 27th last season. You know, the time of year when the snow is ‘thicker’ and ‘heavier’ than normal?

Photographer Sam Marvin of LMP Sports Photography snapped these images on a typical Snow Cat trip. No professional skiers, not a blue bird day. Just a group of people having the time of their lives.

Our guides will see to it that your trip is safe and enjoyable. They’ll help you find slopes like this if you’d like, but you don’t have to be into big air to enjoy the trip.

For most people, the deep, untracked powder is the appeal.

There’s also something incredibly gratifying about knowing you’re hitting a line no one else will touch that day…or maybe even that week.

The scenery is also breathtaking. It would take one heck of a backcountry skier to reach the edges of the 19,000 acres of terrain where we operate.

I’ve been fortunate to go on a few different Snow Cat Adventures, and the memories from each are etched into my psyche.

Some of my favorite memories are about the people. Sharing an experience like this creates instant cameraderie.

Part of the fun is to watch your friends plunge into the powder and resurface with the biggest smiles you’ve ever seen.

Or to cajole each other into hitting a line you never imagined you have all to yourselves.

Brundage Mountain Snow Cat Skiing isn’t just for wild-at-heart winter athletes with no sense of fear. I’ve been on trips with all sorts of people, ranging in age from 14 to 68 years old. Some traveled from the East Coast to sample our legendary powder. Others grew up in our area and literally saved their babysitting money to take a Snow Cat Trip.

You do need to be a strong fall-line skier with some powder skiing experience. And with this deal, it’s more affordable than ever to give this unforgettable adventure a shot.

Take it from me and that rippin’ 14 year old babysitter. The benefits TOTALLY outweight the cost on this one.
