A Fresh Angle

05/12/11

Sometimes, it’s hard to judge the slope conditions from the views you see on our webcams.

We often provide photos from the slopes, but with the chairlifts standing still mid-week right now, we’re looking at things from a different angle. Still, we wanted to give you a fresh perspective on how the mountain looks heading into our closing weekend.

As you can see, the slopes are still plush with snow – no brown spots anywhere!

This front-side view looks a lot different (and much snowier) than the side of the mountain you can see from town.

Although, I always love it when the lake first thaws out and you can see the reflection in the still water.

Pretty snow-capped mountain views are all around this time of year.

But for skiers and boarders, the final turns are top of mind right now. Rest assured, we have plenty of snow to host our history-making Closing Weekend celebration.

We hope you can make it!
