Summer Season Preview: Outdoor Events and Endless Adventures

05/21/25

Brundage Mountain’s summer season is shaping up to be a can’t-miss combo of outdoor adventure and lively mountain vibes starting Friday, June 13.

The resort’s summer operations begin with Friday through Sunday hours, then expand to five days a week—Wednesday through Sunday—starting June 25. Bonus days are also on the calendar for Monday, July 7, and Tuesday, July 8. Chairlift service on the Bluebird Express runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A short eight-mile drive from McCall, the alpine playground at Brundage is wide open during summer season with hiking trails, scenic chairlift rides, a disc golf course, lift-served and cross-country mountain biking, mountain bike lessons and clinics, and slope-side bites at Smoky’s Bar & Grill and Basecamp Coffee. Fourth of July: Fun Run + Live Tunes

Brundage’s signature Independence Day bash returns Friday, July 4, with the Cat Track 10K/5K Fun Run followed by the Fourth of July Music Festival. The musical lineup is still under wraps—but expect a day filled with good vibes, great views, and celebratory energy.

TGIF Concert Series Brings the Beats

Music lovers can kick off their weekend at Brundage every Friday from July 11 through August 29. The TGIF Concert Series, presented by Toyota, features a new band each week.

Here’s the 2025 TGIF lineup:

          • July 11 – Darci Carlson Band
          • July 18 – Great Bait
          • July 25 – Reb and The Good News
          • August 1Artist TBA
          • August 8 – Ellis Bullard
          • August 22 – Möbius Trip
          • August 29 – Jeff Crosby

These FREE, family-friendly, dog-friendly concerts include the opportunity to give back to the community. Each week, a local non-profit is selected to share their story at the concerts and receive a portion of any donations taken at the gate or throughout the evening.

Other summer staples include free mountain yoga on Wednesdays, Sip & Stretch Saturdays, and the action-packed Twisted Turtle Racing Weekend, July 25–27.

Chairlift operations wrap up on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, but the fall fun keeps rolling with a NICA Youth Bike Race September 5–6 and the Brundage Car Show Takeover on September 13.
