Sweet & Sugary
As we head in to our Second Bonus weekend of the spring, conditions AND the forecast are looking terrific!
We got 4″ of fresh powder yesterday, and a one-run survey of snow conditions this afternoon revealed we have soft, sugary snow off-trail.
The groomed runs are smooth, velvety and really forgiving.
As for our overall snow depths, they are holding strong, as you can see from this photo.
Instead of losing snow this time of year, we are STILL on the upward path.
This time last week, we had a base ranging from 96″-129″. But with seven inches of fresh snow this week and cool mid-week temperatures, we’re now up to 96″-132″.
That means our prospects for MORE extended weekends (even beyond May 1) are strong!
That said, you won’t want to miss THIS weekend. With fresh snow reviving our slopes and nothing but sunny skies expected on Saturday, we’re stoked for some sweet, sugary good times!
