Torchlight Parade - Saturday Jan. 31

01/25/09

A beautiful serpentine of lights illuminates the night at Brundage
Mountain Resort. It’s our way of kicking off McCall’s Winter Carnival
with an activity you can enjoy whether you are a skier or just someone
who appreciates all the beauty winter has to offer. Be sure to bring
your camera!

“A torchlight parade is something you can enjoy whether you
are a skier or just someone who appreciates a beautiful mountain
setting,” said event coordinator and Snowsport School Director Shayne
Large.

The spectacular display can be viewed from the base area, the upper
parking lot, the deck of the main lodge or from the warmth of Smoky’s
Pub on the second floor of the main lodge.  Spectators are encouraged to bring cameras to capture the moment.

The event is free for spectators and will start at 6:00 pm.

Members of the public who would like to participate in the
torchlight parade must be advanced skiers aged 12 or up and must get
pre-approval from the Snowsport School Director. Approved participants
will meet at the base of the Blue Bird Quad at 5:00 pm.

Please call 208-634-4151 ext. 123 by noon on Saturday to sign up.
