Sweet Fluffy Goodness

03/17/11

When we get a big blast of snow later in the season, we don’t always expect it to be light, fluffy, champagne powder.

Especially when the beginning of the same storm brought us denser, more spring-like snow. (See yesterday’s entry.)

That’s why today was so exciting – it was definitely one of our Top 5 powder days of the entire season.

The snow was soft, forgiving and knee-deep, with frequent face shots and multiple giggles of pleasure.

These pictures show the ‘hero snow’ qualities, it was so forgiving, we were bouncing around with confidence and playing around like a bunch of little kids. After a while, the sun even came out.

It’s amazing what a couple feet of snow and a blower powder day does to lift your spirits and feed your soul.
