Summer Preview: Season Opens Saturday, June 16

06/08/18

Trail Update: Hidden Valley and Elk Trail will be open for top-to-bottom riding starting Opening Day, June 16. The only trails not open for our first weekend are Black Bear Loop & Grouse. We expect to have Black Bear Loop open by 6-23-2018.

Brundage Mountain’s Summer Season opens Saturday, June 16, with the Brundage Bike Park and Smoky’s Bar & Grill in full operation. Top-to-bottom single track riding will be available starting opening day. The only trail that may remain impacted by snow is Upper Hidden Valley.

“This is our earliest summer opening in history, but we’ll have almost all of our trails open and ready to ride,” said resort spokesperson, April Whitney. “Trail, Growler, High Voltage, Grouse, and all of our cross-country and hiking trails will be open, along with Lower Hidden Valley. Our trail crews are working hard to clear the snow from the north-facing slopes of Upper Hidden to get that last piece open as soon as possible.”

Brundage Mountain is expanding its summer season offerings, adding an extra day to the weekly schedule and fresh events to the summer calendar.

Brundage will be open Saturdays & Sundays June 16-17 and June 23-24. The resort will be open for Wednesday through Sunday operations starting June 27, with Bonus Days Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3.

Summer season highlights include scenic chairlift rides, three different hiking trails, a nine-hole disc golf course and slope-side dining at Smoky’s Bar & Grill, as well as cross-country and lift-served mountain biking in the Brundage Bike Park.

Smoky’s will serve Sunday Brunch each week from 10 am – 2 pm, with a special Crawdaddy Boil for the Father’s Day Brunch on June 17.

Music will fill the mountains on select Fridays this summer as Brundage hosts a free concert series. Guests can casually enjoy the performances from the terraced grass amphitheater or opt for reserved seating on the plaza and balcony to enjoy a themed prix fixe dinner.
