Here’s something you don’t see very often…

A string of chairs packed with smiling faces on a non-holiday Wednesday!

It wasn’t like this all day, but to see this many people kicking it on the Bear Chair is really unusual for this time of year. It’s our special 50th season visitor-appreciation event that brought out all these enthusiastic skiers and riders.

We’ve been offering free lift tickets this Monday – Thursday, so there’s one day left to head up and see why all these folks are so happy.

Naturally, it’s not just the price that is nice. These season pass holders were happy to get their ski legs in shape on smooth, carvable groomed runs like 45th Parallel.

It’s a wise move to ease into things early-season. But that doesn’t mean we have all the time in the world.

This week’s forecast includes a strong chance of fresh snow.

And if we get even half of what they’re predicting by the weekend, we could see as many powder runs in the trees as we saw warm up runs on the groomers today.
