Kick Off Your Holiday Weekend with a FREE Chairlift Ride

Here at Brundage Mountain, we’re extending chairlift and restaurant operations for the long Fourth of July weekend and kicking it all off with one day of FREE chairlift rides on Thursday, June 30. We’re also starting our NEW Summer Duathlon Series this Friday and hosting a full day of Family Fun on July 4th.

Regular chairlift operations now run 9:30 am – 4:30 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A Bonus Day is planned for Monday, July 4. Smoky’s Bar & Grill is open 11:00 am – 5:00 pm with early openings on Sundays at 10:30 am for Sunday brunch. The Bluebird Quad runs 9:30 – 4:30 for scenic chairlift rides and lift-served mountain biking.

Free Lift Rides Thursday, June 30:
Thursday, June 30, Brundage hosts its annual Rec Fair and Food Drive. Anyone who donates one can of food or $1 will qualify for a free chairlift ride on Thursday. Proceeds benefit McCall’s own Heartland Hunger Resource Center. More.

Summer Duathlon Series Starts Friday, July 1:
Challenge your skills and mix it up with family and friends with this new Friday night ‘training race’ series. Race dates are July 1, 15, 29 and August 12 with the real deal, the Big Mountain Du on Saturday, September 3. More.

Family Fun, Mountain Run & Live Music Monday, July 4:
Fitness buffs can start the day with a runner’s high as they climb to the summit and run back down in the Cat Track 10K. Families can enjoy midday music on the plaza from two different artists before the free Disc Golf Tournament in the afternoon.

9:00 am – The third annual Cat Track 10k
10:30 am – Post Race After Party – (Free for the public) with live music from The Last Revel
1:00 pm – On the Loose takes the stage in the Plaza
1:00 pm – Free Disc Golf Tournament on the Easy Street 9

Brundage Mountain maintains 20+ miles of hand-built single track trails for downhill mountain bikers and also has a free disc golf course, childrens play area and nature trail in the base area for all visitors to use. This year, Brundage has opened a 4.7 mile mid-mountain loop to two-way traffic and foot-traffic.

Please note: Construction crews will be working on Goose Lake Road on Thursdays through the summer. A pilot car will shuttle vehicles past the construction zones, with delays up to 30 minutes possible on Thursdays only. No road construction or delays are scheduled Fridays through Sundays or on Monday, July 4.
