Downright Inspiring
Some days are statistically easier to get excited about than others. (For me, the sweet spot is at 9″ of fresh snow and about 14 degrees.) While today’s snow totals didn’t jump off the page, I was downright inspired by the combination of cool, carvable corduroy, comfortable sunshine and a whole lot of friendly people having fun.
We hope you’ll bear with us as we indulge in a post-holiday poem:
The Day After Christmas
Twas the Day After Christmas, and all cross the slopes,
We found skiers and riders with high holiday hopes.

Carving turns from the summit with faces aglow,

Delighted and excited by the soft, sugary snow.

The sun came up early, with its warm, glowing rays,

Adding an extra sparkle to our favorite ski days.

It’s always a thrill when the holidays begin,
With our new gear and our ski legs getting all broken in.

From the Bears Den to Smoky’s down Easy Street and Main,

The holiday cheer has hit Brundage again!
