Bonus Weekend added April 18 & 19th

Full-day Lift tickets at half-day prices April 18 & 19th!!!

A snowy March and powdery start to the month of April has given Brundage Mountain just what it needs to extend its winter season. The resort plans to be open seven days a week through April 12, and has now added its first “Bonus Weekend” of the season, Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th.

Snow conditions at Brundage Mountain are the best they’ve been all season. The resort has had 18 inches of fresh snow this week, and more fresh snow is forecast over the next 36 hours. Mid-winter snow conditions exist both on the groomed runs and off trail in the powder.

The McCall, Idaho ski area saw 52 inches of accumulation in March, and has had another 8 inches fall in the last 48 hours. The snow base is up to 70 inches at the lodge and 98 inches at the summit.

“We’ve been having a streak of amazing powder days for the last couple weeks,” said resort spokesperson, April Russell, “and this latest blast of snow, plus a favorable forecast, makes us confident that we can offer a great mountain experience on April 18th and 19th.”

Pond Skimming Returns for Crazy Daze April 11 & 12

The resort’s traditional Crazy Daze celebration will be held as scheduled on April 11 & 12th. Big prizes will be awarded for the winners of the Crazy Daze Costume contest and the resort’s third annual Pond Skimming Contest. Full details on these events and detailed descriptions of snow conditions can be found by clicking on the “SnowBlog” link at www.brundage.com.
