Top Ten Reasons Not To Sleep in on a Powder Day

There’s nothing like first chair on a powder day, or even first dozen-or-so chairs.

We had 6″ of fresh, fluffy stuff fall overnight on top of 4″ yesterday and 4″ the day before.

All totaled, it created some sweet ego-stroking conditions on the mountain today. Luckily, the snow is still falling, the powder is plentiful and even visitors who sauntered up to the mountain at a leisurely pace are enjoying some great turns.

Still, I have to wonder. What could be more important that fresh tracks on an ideal day?
