NEW Alpine Racing Center Takes Shape

10/25/11
The McCall Ski Racing Team, known to many as “MSRT”, has a proud tradition here at Brundage Mountain. Hundreds of young racers have benefited from world-class coaching provided by the program over the years.
Now, thanks to the team and community support, MSRT is set to provide an even better, more state-of-the-art experience for future generations in the brand new MSRT Alpine Racing Center.
The new building, in two pieces, made the journey up Highway 95 on October 10th, arriving at Brundage amid the fall foliage.
The Race Center is located at the far end of the Lower Parking Lot, providing easy access to the loading terminals for the Bear Chair and Centennial Chairlifts.
Here’s what it looked like before the pieces were attached…
And after!

Construction crews work on skirting and the main entrance.
This is how the Alpine Racing Center looks as of October 24th, 2011.  The stairs are under construction.
Once complete, the building will provide 1600 square feet of space, which will house bathrooms, ski tuning and video facilities, storage, lunch and meeting areas and a coaches office.
All friends and supporters of MSRT are invited to come tour the facility during an Open House on November 5th – Please RSVP online by November 1st to toast the new Racing Center and see all that it has to offer!
