September Events will Continue Despite Early End to Chairlift Service

09/01/26

Music, community events, XC riding and base-area dining remain on the September schedule

Brundage Mountain Resort will move ahead with its full lineup of September events, but without the bonus Saturday chairlift service announced last month. A new maintenance issue detected Monday will prevent the BlueBird Express from operating for remainder of the summer season.

The Brundage Lift Maintenance team is working with the chairlift manufacturer to source an important replacement part. As a result, previously announced scenic chairlift rides and lift-served downhill mountain biking will not be available on the Bonus Saturdays.

The Brundage Bike Park will remain open for cross-country riding, and Brundage Mountain Patrol will be on the mountain Saturdays in September. Riders should check current trail information before heading out and be prepared for self-powered access.

“We were really excited to offer some bonus weekends this September,” said Brundage Mountain Resort General Manager Ken Rider. “Unfortunately, those will happen without chairlift service. In the meantime, the show goes on, and we invite everyone to come enjoy the music and merriment in the base area, spend some time on the XC trails and grab lunch at Smoky’s Bar & Grill as the great fall temperatures arrive.”

September Saturday Events:

Friday, Sept. 4: TGIF Concert Series With Jeff Crosby

Brundage closes out its free TGIF Concert Series with Valley County favorite Jeff Crosby. The Sean Tracey Band performs at 5:30 p.m., followed by Crosby from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 12: Summer Beer & Gear

The warm-weather take on Brundage’s popular Beer & Gear event runs from noon to 4 p.m. with outdoor gear and apparel, local breweries, live music and Nonprofit Row. An XC CIMBA group ride is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon before the event.

Saturday, Sept. 19: Brundage Car Show

The second annual Brundage Car Show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an eclectic mix of vehicles, live music and a Kids Zone featuring face painting and lawn games.

The McCall+ Pride Rainbow Run begins at 11 a.m., followed by Oktoberfest from noon to 6 p.m. The festival features beer, food, live music, contests and family activities, with proceeds supporting MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.
