Brundage Welcomes New Team Members & Congratulates Long-Time Employees on New Leadership Roles

07/19/22

Brundage Mountain continues to build out its team with an eye toward the future as the resort moves forward with an expansive 10-year development plan.

Rob McFadden has been named VP of Operations for the Brundage Mountain Municipal Association. Rob has served as Director of Mountain Operations since 2005. Rob, who was born and raised in McCall, started his career with Brundage as a seasonal lift operator back in 1985 and has worked his way up through many different leadership roles over the past 37 years.

Brundage Mountain is excited to announce Jeff Klock as Construction Project Superintendent. Jeff has worked as Brundage Mountain’s Facilities Manager for 21 years. Jeff has an extensive background in construction, maintenance, and holds a general contractors license as well as a wastewater license. Jeff lives in Donnelly, ID with his wife Susanne and dog Kato. Jeff and Susanne have two adult children. In his free time, you will find Jeff hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Jon Bison is stepping into the Facilities Manager position after joining the Brundage team in 2018 as a maintenance technician. John’s work ethic and attention to detail, along with previous experience at other NW ski resorts, has helped him rise through the ranks. Jon is excited about his new role and loves the family feel of working at Brundage.

Angie Ellsworth is joining the Brundage team as Construction Project Coordinator. Angie is a great fit for this new position thanks to six years of experience in the construction field. Angie owns and manages a local construction company with her husband Rob. Outside of work, she enjoys rafting, snowmobiling, traveling and adventuring with her dog Sade.

Brundage Mountain welcomes Sarah Jane (SJ) Erlemeier into another new position, Off-Site Activities Program Manager. SJ will manage both the Activity Barn Snow Tubing facility in McCall and the Creekside RV Park in New Meadows. Sarah Jane holds a degree in communications, with an emphasis on Human Resources. She has found past success in multiple roles within the hospitality industry, including guest services, human resources and most recently, at the Activity Barn. SJ loves concerts, disc golf, hiking, cycling, coffee and jigsaw puzzles.

Brett Johnson has joined the Brundage Marketing team as Digital Content Manager. Brett is a Boise State alum with a BA in Communications and Journalism. Brett has spent several years specializing in tourism media as a freelancer in Boise. Brett is a lifelong snowboarder who is two seasons into learning to ski. He also enjoys mountain biking and hanging with his best friend, a 90lb goldendoodle named Boytjie (Boy-key).

Jamie Grimston is Brundage Mountain’s new Employee Services Generalist. Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and has worked as a human resources coordinator at a top Chicago hotel. Jamie is an amateur skier who is excited to improve her skills while working at Brundage. She also enjoys swimming and tennis.

Bridget Ross has joined the Brundage Admin team as a Staff Accountant. Bridget holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Tax with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Washington State University. Bridget has worked as an accountant for a variety of different industries and has operated a tax business for over 10 years. She enjoys traveling and going to concerts and is a die-hard WSU football fan.

Brundage Mountain would also like to congratulate Scott Bourne, who was recently elected to the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Scott is a McCall native who learned to ski at Brundage Mountain at the age of three and started working at Brundage back in 2004. Scott’s career path includes roles as a highly-requested ski instructor, lift operations manager, lift mechanic, and rental shop manager. Scott was named Skier Services Director in 2016. Scott lives in New Meadows with his wife, two sons, Tink the chihuahua and Ziggy the cat.

“This is an exciting time for Brundage Mountain,” says Brundage Mountain General Manager, Ken Rider. “We are now putting years of planning into action to bring Brundage Mountain into the future while preserving what has made it special for so many years. It takes the right people to get that done and this is part of the team that will help us realize a vision that is uniquely Brundage.”
