New This Summer: BMR2BB Hiking and Biking Trail

A new 6.3 mile mountain bike trail crafted with the latest, most sustainable trail building techniques is set to officially open in early July. The BMR2BB Trail connects the Brundage Bike Park to the popular Bear Basin Trail System. The intermediate trail was specially designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of mountain bikers and hikers. The trail was built through a public-private-non-profit partnership spearheaded by the Central Idaho Mountain Bike Association (CIMBA) and supported by the One Track Mind foundation. The trail connects to the Brundage trail system via the highly-rated Lakeview Vista trail near the intersection of Growler.

New This Summer: Mountain Bike Lessons from the Brundage Mountain Sports School

The newly-formed Mountain Sports School’s team of certified mountain bike instructors is offering both Private lessons and Group lessons this summer. Private lessons are available every day the Brundage Bike Park is open and Group “Learn to Ride” sessions for beginners will be available on select Saturdays throughout the summer. The Mountain Sports School instructors will also be hosting free, social group rides every Friday at 1:00 pm. Pre-registration is highly recommended.

FREE Summer Concerts

Brundage Mountain’s grassy outdoor amphitheater will host a Fourth of July Music Fest and TGIF Summer Concert Series, which are both FREE, dog-friendly and fun for the whole family.

Fourth of July Music Fest

The Fourth of July action kicks off with the popular Cat Track 5k/10k running events, followed by an all-day concert on the plaza stage. Admission is FREE and the terraced lawn is a great place to spread out a blanket and enjoy the day. This year’s lineup includes Spencer Batt, Corn Mash and Lucky Tongue.  The Music Fest runs from 10:15 am – 5:00 pm.

TGIF Summer Concert Series

Music lovers can enjoy a string of Friday evening performances in the Brundage base area starting Friday, July 7. Concertgoers have the option of sitting in a dog-friendly zone with their well-behaved furry friends or choosing a dog-free zone.
