Beyond the Slopes: Winter Adventures for All Tastes

11/20/17

Brundage Mountain has long been known as a place with world-class snow and hassle-free skiing and riding. But many people are just beginning to learn about all the extraordinary winter experiences Brundage Mountain offers above and beyond what you scout from the chairlift.

New this year: The Bear’s Den Dinner After Dark culinary series takes dining to new heights. This unique experience begins as you step aboard a SnowCat for a ride to the mid-mountain Bear’s Den. This cozy cabin is your outpost for the evening, as you enjoy a gourmet four-course meal. Several different menus are rotated throughout the season, and ‘full-moon’ dinners are available in the Spring. Learn more.

For a higher-octane adventure, sign up for a guided snowmobile tour from Brundage Snowmobile Adventures. Just park at the resort and you’ll find the sleds are all prepped, staged and ready to take you on a playful powdery tour or a scenic ride to beautiful backcountry vistas. Our guides can even take you to historic Burgdorf Hot Springs for a mid-day soak break in an unforgettable setting. For those familiar with backcountry riding, Brundage Snowmobile Adventures also offers rentals for self-guided tours. Learn more.

New from the Activity Barn: If you’re looking to make some old-fashioned memories, you’ll want to try the new horse-drawn sleigh rides offered at McCall’s Activity Barn. Climbing aboard a 15-person sleigh feels like taking a step back in time. Belgian Draft horses will pull you and your friends across snow-laden fields as you enjoy stunning valley views of Jug Handle, No Business and Brundage Mountains. Just $30 for adults and $12 for youth, this is an adventure the whole family can enjoy. Learn more.

For the ultimate off-piste adventure, book a seat on a Brundage SnowCat Adventure and find an immense landscape of terrain unfold before you. With 18,000 acres of backcountry options, Brundage SnowCat Adventures is one of the premiere guided backcountry destinations in North America. Most repeat visitors opt to reserve a ‘private’ snowcat for 10 people. Book now, these trips fill up fast during peak season and are among the best and most affordable ways to enjoy deep powder riding. Learn more.
