McCall’s Activity Barn Expands Snow Tubing Just in Time for Winter Carnival

01/23/26

Lift-serviced snow tubing will be available at the Activity Barn all 10 days of McCall’s Winter Carnival, Jan. 30–Feb. 8

The Activity Barn opened a third tubing lane Friday, Jan. 23, increasing capacity and giving guests even more room to slide, laugh and repeat. Even bigger news: the Activity Barn will offer lift-serviced snow tubing for all 10 days of the 2026 McCall Winter Carnival, running Friday, Jan. 30, through Sunday, Feb. 8.

Throughout Winter Carnival, guests can enjoy conveyor-belt-assisted tubing sessions with expanded hours:

  • Sunday–Thursday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“We’re excited that Winter Carnival is back in a 10-day format, giving locals and visitors more time to enjoy everything McCall has to offer,” said Ken Rider, general manager of Brundage Mountain Resort, which operates the Activity Barn. “Having the Activity Barn open for snow tubing throughout that timeframe is part of our commitment to supporting Winter Carnival and the fun that surrounds it.”

Snow tubing is offered in two-hour sessions, and guests are encouraged to reserve online in advance, especially during Winter Carnival’s peak days. The conveyor lift whisks tubers back to the top quickly, maximizing downhill time and minimizing waiting in line.

Located just two miles south of McCall, the Activity Barn’s tubing hill is open to anyone 36 inches or taller, making it a crowd-pleasing option for families, friend groups and Winter Carnival visitors looking to add some gravity-powered fun to their festivities.

Reservations, session availability and additional details are available at activitybarn.com.
