Best Snow in Idaho: "It's more than a phrase, it's a fact!"
Brundage Mountain may not be well-known as a ‘destination resort’, but that doesn’t mean we don’t attract visitors from across the country and around the world.
Some of these visitors return year after year and extend their vacations for a week or more. One of those ‘destination families’ was kind enough to write us a letter and send along some photos chronicling their vacation. We thought our regular readers and locals might like to hear how our little mountain is appreciated by those who come from far and wide:
Hello Brundage Mountain,
We once again have concluded our annual LeBlanc family ski trip to Brundage Mountain! This year it was just the LeBlanc Men….Fred & Luc! Mom & sister could not attend, so the LeBlanc Men skied 9 days on your mountain!
Although this year’s snow did not match last year’s powder, skiing under blue bird skies for 7/9 days, was still absolutely fabulous!
We skied all day, then enjoyed your new deck while sitting in the afternoon sunshine. What an awesome addition. We enjoyed some lunches on the deck, and some drinks too. The servers were always very nice and smiling. Deck service at Smoky’s is top notch!
We lost my son’s season pass for a day, so we got a free daily ticket from the friendly customer service girl, and then found the pass later that day still hanging on the ski rack where he left it! How cool was that!
The lift operators were totally awesome as we have come to expect, Megan, Thomas, and the entire lifty crew made sure each and every lift ride was safe, gave a fist bump to my boy, and a thumbs up and the “Brundage smile!!” What a crew you have!
The food in the bar was great, the beer tasted extra good after a day of skiing, and of course we had our share of brownies from the third level snack bar!
Of course 9 days flies by so fast, but we left with tan faces, sore legs, and the desire to return once again in 2016.

Once again, thank you Brundage Mountain staff, Grooming Crew, Ski Patrol, Service workers, and the lifties for all you do to make this place the “Best Snow in Idaho!” It’s more than a phrase…it’s a fact!
