Brundage Mountain Welcomes Experienced Leader as Food & Beverage Director

05/30/23

Brundage Mountain Resort is excited to welcome 40-year-old Jordan Adams as its new Food & Beverage Director. Adams brings more than two decades of experience to the position at the independently owned ski and summer resort.

Adams will oversee the entire Brundage Mountain Resort Food and Beverage operation, which includes Smoky’s Bar & Grill, the Main Street Market & Espresso, The Upper Lot Pub and the Bear’s Den, along with managing both on-site and off-site catering operations.

Adams’ background prepares him well for the role. He’s worked in leadership positions for several top restaurant groups across the region. Adams served as General Manager of Boise’s popular FORK restaurant, worked as Operating Partner and Regional Director for five Fins restaurants, (including Boise’s Lucky Fins), managed regional sales for Deschutes Brewery, and previously served as Food and Beverage Director at McCall’s esteemed Shore Lodge.

“High volume is a specialty of mine,” says Adams, who has lived in Idaho for 11 years and whose two daughters learned to ski and snowboard at Brundage Mountain. “I realize the importance of really nailing these lifetime memories for families and my goal is to deliver truly amazing and unique experiences on the mountain.”

Brundage Mountain Resort is currently in the process of implementing a $25-$30 million, 10 Year Improvement Plan. Upgrades and additions to the Food and Beverage operations – both in the base area and on the mountain itself – are a key part of the resort’s vision for the future.

“We are thrilled to have Jordan on the team at this critical moment in Brundage Mountain’s evolution,” says Brundage Mountain Resort General Manager, Ken Rider. “He has the right kind of experience, knowledge and insights to improve our immediate operations and also help us thoughtfully build toward the future. He’s a strong leader who understands what it takes to deliver a great guest experience.”

“Culture is everything in Food & Beverage and Brundage provides the perfect canvas to create our own world up here,” says Adams. “I am excited to carry on the Brundage legacy and combine the history here with our vision for the future. It will be very rewarding to be a part of it all.”
