Activity Barn to be Open for Snowtubing, Sleigh Rides, Fat Biking and Nordic Fun EVERY DAY During McCall’s Winter Carnival

01/12/19

Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride

McCall’s Activity Barn will be offering non-stop fun during the 2019 McCall Winter Carnival. Snow tubing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, Fat Bike rentals, snowshoe rentals and a brand new, FREE snow maze will be open every day from Friday, January 25 through Sunday, February 3.

FIVE 800-foot lanes are currently open for Snow Tubing, which is offered in two-hour sessions for anyone over 36 inches tall. Snow Tubing hours and prices are available at www.activitybarn.com. Reservations are not required for snow tubing.

Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides will be offered daily during Winter Carnival at noon, 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Sleigh rides are expected to be incredibly popular, so reservations are required. Please call 208-315-3080 or email [email protected].

Fat Biking on Dog Friendly Nordic Trail

The Activity Barn also rents 2019 Kona Wo Fat Bikes for use on the three-mile Nordic Trail on site. Trail access is free.  The Activity Barn Nordic trail connects to the North Valley Rail Trail, both of which are dog-friendly. Snowshoes can also be rented at the Activity Barn.

While these activities are quickly becoming Winter Carnival traditions, a brand new feature is expected to steal the show for Winter Carnival 2019. The Activity Barn team is crafting a family-friendly 1,000+ square foot Snow Maze on site. Guests are invited to come explore this interactive snow sculpture at no charge.
