The Corduroy We All Know and Love
During the second half of January, we heard many descriptive words regarding our groomed surfaces. Including, but not limited to: corn, hardpack, ice, chicken heads, gravel on a sidewalk, and ‘somewhere between chunky peanut butter and toothpaste’. While we have made the best of what mother nature gave us, we are thankful to see the forecast changing in our favor.
This week we have had 15 inches of new snow and we are happy to announce a brand new description, soft smooth velvet. The groomed surfaces have softened and smoothed into a wonderful, carvable brand of corduroy.
In addition to the refreshing surface on the slopes, we got a brief break from the snow showers today.
More storms are headed our way starting tomorrow, so hopefully those schmooey chicken heads days will remain a distant memory.
Enjoy
