The Mountain is OPEN!!! What's New at Brundage for Summer 2020

06/20/20

Opening Day is finally here and the Brundage team is thrilled to welcome our guests back to the mountain!

All of the traditional summer activities and amenities are available again this summer, but we’ve changed some of our protocols to help protect our guests from the threat of COVID-19. Our detailed operating plan is available here. For those looking for the TL/DR version, here are the highlights:

Tickets & Bike Park Passes are available at the ticket windows. Our Guest Services lobby is closed to walk-ins, please check in at the ticket window and we’ll invite you inside if you need individual attention.

*Masks are required in all indoor facilities*

*Masks are also required when loading and unloading the BlueBird Express*

We’ve set up the ‘maze’ to help keep people six feet apart, and our friendly lift operators are ready to walk our guests through the loading process.

Same story at the summit, please don your mask and be ready for instructions as our lift operators direct traffic on the top ramp.

Once your feet are on the ground, you are free to explore our beautiful hiking trails and bike trails with or without a mask. Fresh air is our friend!

As you can see, we still have some snow on the summit, but our trail crew is hard at work. They bludgeoned back some snowbanks to get High Voltage open today.

Growler and Lower Elk are also riding great. You can follow updates on more trail openings on our Summer Trail Report.

Those who are dining at Smoky’s Bar & Grill will also see some changes. The big one is the new summer menu. IT. IS. FANTASTIC. View Menu Here

The other changes include separate entrances and exits to help keep people spaced out, and changes to how we’re serving our summer guests.

Those who are dining outside on the patios can order from our outdoor counter on the Smoky’s deck.

Those dining indoors can order from the Smoky’s bar. We will give you a number and deliver your food to your table.

Brundage is now open Wednesdays through Sundays.

Summer Operating Hours

Don’t miss the Fourth of July Music Fest and the FREE TGIF Concert Series.

Other summer events include the Summit Cat Track 10k/5k and the Twisted Turtle XC Bike Race

We hope you’ll come join us soon for some summertime fun at family-friendly, family-owned Brundage Mountain!
