Seven From Heaven

11/06/15

McCallSnowFor snow lovers like those who regularly read this blog, it’s ALWAYS exciting to wake up and see fresh snow on the ground. Today was our first snowfall of the season at 5,000 feet ‘in town’ in McCall, so sunrise brought a familiar sense of quiet satisfaction for many of us locals today.

And while we’ve had a couple small storms up on the mountain (6,000 feet elevation), I can tell you that this is the first one that really got my heart pumping.

Naturally, seven inches isn’t enough to open the resort, but there’s something about the sensation of tromping through this much snow that makes one FEEL exponentially closer to…something.

I hope these photos allow you to share in that feeling until we can all be up here together doing what we love!
