Powder Days are Here Again

01/19/18

Open Snow MapThis winter has taken it’s sweet time getting here, but the goods have arrived. We’ve had 32 inches of fresh snow fall in the past 13 days, and the forecast is looking cold and snowy through next week, too. Open Snow Forecast

Those who like to explore off-trail can now do so with more confidence, as our snow depths have reached ‘healthy’ status, with 48 inches at the bottom and 64 inches on the summit.

It’s something we started to hear when last week’s storms brought us three straight powder days…but the sentiment is even louder today:

“THIS feels like Brundage!”

But don’t take our word for it. Here are some photos that tell the story. Slopes are buffed out, tree limbs are painted with powder. And most importantly, the Brundage faithful have come home with big smiles (and a little powder) on their faces. Enjoy!
