Thursty Thursday
Gooood Morning fellow snow lovers! Well, here we are rolling into this fine Thursday January 22nd. Can’t say much has changed from yesterday but the weather has been absolutely immaculate so you won’t hear any complaints from me.
With no new snow there is this constant debate everyday should I go shred? The obvious answer is a resounding YES! We are still in the heart of ski season so come quench your thurst and find some time to get to your favorite local hill. Come out for some before-work laps, or try to wrap things up early and catch last chair, soaking in some of those hometown views you maybe haven’t stopped to appreciate as much as you should. No matter the reason, there’s no excuse not to see the top of Brundage today.
The GROOMING REPORT is still going to be your best for the most up to date information on how sweet old Brundage is going to be looking on this fine day.
It does look like we may see a little less sun today than we have this week but temperatures should remain about the same. Attire shouldn’t change much but maybe swap your lenses out or at least bring a spare.
Great food, good drinks. and the best snow in Idaho. With all that being said I think it is safe to say: See y’all on the hill and be safe out there today!
Thanks for,
-Kickin’ it with Kyle
The following is how we classify grooming at Brundage Mountain Resort:
Groomed this morning: The run/trail has been groomed after 12:01am today.
Groomed last night: The run/trail was groomed between 4:01pm and 11:59pm, after the lifts closed.
Open: The run/trail is open for skiing/riding but has had no grooming operations on it.
Closed: STAY OUT OF THIS TERRAIN. Runs marked closed have not been deemed safe for the public to be on.
Upon entering CLOSED terrain, it jeopardizes Brundage Mountain Patrol’s ability to provide aid to you. Your skiing and riding privileges will also be at risk when entering closed terrain.
Early season conditions exist. It is highly reccommended to stick to open and groomed terrain. Off-piste skiing and riding is not recommended at this time.
