100% Open and Stoked About Winter Break

12/17/16

Winter break is officially here at the timing is PERFECT. We now have 100% of our terrain open and ALL of our chairlifts will be running daily through the Winter Break period.

Our slopes are looking REALLY good thanks to a series of impressive storms like this one:

Both the powder…

And the corduroy…

…have been excellent, although we do ask that you keep an eye out for early-season conditions this time of year.

The forecast is also looking good for the holiday break. More snow is expected around December 19-20 to keep things fresh for our pre-Christmas guests. All of our primary runs are now in the regular grooming rotation, and we hope to groom even more runs after this next set of storms.

Holiday Happenings

In addition to great snow conditions, we’ve got some special things happening to make your holiday visit better than ever. Here’s a look:

Brundage adventure center in the snowOur FREE McCall to Brundage Shuttle will run EVERY DAY from December 23 through January 1. You can check out the schedule here. We invite you to ‘Park and Ride’ from the Brundage Adventure Center in downtown McCall.

The Brundage Adventure Center is also a great place to complete your last-minute holiday gift list. We have a full selection of retail and gift items (you can also buy passes & tickets there!).

If you have little ones, they can get a bonus visit with Santa Claus on Christmas Day, either here at Brundage Mountain or at the Activity Barn Snow Tubing facility in McCall.

Crowd of people watching fireworks in the base area. Our annual holiday Light Up the Night Celebration lands right on New Year’s Eve this year. Plan to join us after the lifts close for our Torchlight Parade, Fireworks Show, Live music and special ‘New Year’s Eve Pre-Funk’ this year.

If you know someone who is just learning to ski – you’ll want to make sure they know about our ExpressPASS Beginners Program. It includes four days of lessons and rentals – PLUS – a season pass as a ‘graduation’ gift from us!

snowmoglamourshotIf you’re looking for a new way to adventure in winter, we’re also offering Guided Snowmobile Tours based right here at Brundage Mountain. You’ll explore the beautiful backcountry of the Payette National Forest while one of our experienced backcountry guides takes care of the navigation.

These are just a few of the exciting things we have going on this holiday season. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate Winter Break AND ring in the New Year on the Best Snow in Idaho.
