The Corn Farmers Wait
We have another spectacular spring skiing day lined up for you with warm temperatures and sunny skies. For the first few hours of the day it will be firm and loud under foot, but like the last bunch of days, the snow will soften up fast as the sun reaches high into the sky.
As we wait for the corn snow to take hold, slap some wax on your skis to keep yourself moving downhill. As the weather heats up the snow will get a bit sticky since it hasn’t turned to corn snow yet (the best spring snow type). Will we start to find some of the elusive corn snow today? I think we might, but we are all still waiting.
With a few more days of sunny skies and warm temperatures it is easy for us to think that it will be this nice until the end of the season, but there is another storm on the horizon. Come get your sunny spring turns while supplies last because there is a good chance we could be powder skiing by the end of the weekend.
