The Colorful Characters of Brundage Mountain

12/25/14

christmas powder 6091209Every year, we look forward to our annual visit from Santa Claus. We figure, after pulling an all-nighter delivering gifts around the world, he REALLY deserves to spend the day enjoying the Best Snow in Idaho.

This holiday season, Santa has been joined by a couple of other colorful characters you may have noticed on the slopes and around town.

Our mascot, Bruno, has been hanging out at the new Brundage Adventure Center downtown.

He wants everyone to know about our park-and-ride shuttle service (it’s free) and to let people know they can buy their tickets in advance downtown. (Learn more about the Adventure Center and Shuttle service here.)

Most of the time, Bruno is helping out around Brundage or making new friends.

But he’s not the only creature we found a little out-of-place this week.

This elf was definitely OFF the shelf when she was hitting the slopes.

She also made some new friends at Brundage, including our Ski Patrol Director, Peggy.

She’ll be heading back up to the North Pole with Santa now that he’s had a chance to ski and meet all the kids who were at Brundage Mountain today.

But don’t worry, even though the colorful holiday characters are gone, Bruno will be here ALL winter spreading Santa-style cheer…

…and hopefully staying out of trouble!

Merry Christmas!
