Closing Weekend Preview

04/11/14

Closing Weekend Prep 027006Our crews were out today working hard to prep the slopes for our final weekend of the season.

We got the chance to tag along with our camera to give you this preview of what you can expect on the slopes.

In addition to great lift ticket deals ($25 for adults, $15 for Juniors and Seniors, Kids 11 & under are free), it looks like we’re in store for some sweet spring conditions.

We’ve had warm temps and sunshine every day this week, with cold enough overnight temperatures to create our spring favorite: corn snow!

We’ve groomed all the main slopes once already, and they’ll each get another groom tonight or tomorrow morning (and of course, a fresh once-over for Sunday).

100% of our terrain will be open, and if tomorrow is anything like today, you won’t want to wait too long to hit the slopes. I would recommend heading to Lakeview right at 10 am and working your way back around toward the north side of the mountain from there. (If you’re like me, the ultimate game plan ends with you basking in the sunshine in the lower parking lot with your favorite friends, a cold one and a barbecue).

The forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies tomorrow and nuthin’ but sunshine on Closing day, so throw some fresh wax on your skis and don’t forget the sunscreen.

In addition to the lift ticket discounts listed above, we’re inviting you to burn all your extra Select Card visits (learn more), AND, Sunday is Second Sunday, which means all of our Season Pass holders (Mid-week Club Card holders included) are invited to BRING A FRIEND FOR FREE on Sunday.

Check out these photos and then start calling your friends. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!
