Crazy Days are the Best Days
We lucked out with the weather for our Crazy Days/Closing Day celebration this year. We had rain in the early morning hours, but by the time the lifts opened, skies had dried up and we ended up with sunshine for the rest of the day.
It was just the thing our Crazy Days revelers needed to keep their spirits high. Low season snowfall and warm spring temperatures battered our base area, which meant for the first time in 10 years, we were not able to build a pond and host our annual Pond Skimming contest.
But that didn’t put a damper on the fun. We introduced a new event that’s sure to be a hit in years to come (and we are confident Pond Skimming will make a valiant return, too). Below, we’ve shared some photo highlights from our new Beer Relay event and our always-popular costume contest.
We want to thank everyone who turned out for our season’s end party. I know we’ll all be doubling down on the snow dances this year and praying to Ullr & Skaya (pictured, right) for a bounty of snow for 2015/16!
Cheers!
