You're Invited to Ski & Ride for a CURE Saturday, January 24

01/18/15

Hope-on-the-Slopes-logo Brundage Mountain Resort is proud to host its first ‘Hope on the Slopes’ event on Saturday, January 24. The goal of the event is to harness people’s love for skiing and snowboarding and their desire to help out a good cause.

Individuals and teams of 4 to 10 participants compete for the most vertical feet skied and most donations received. All ages are welcome to participate. Proceeds raised support and fund research that leads to improved treatments, patient care and services, and education.

Hope on the Slopes – Ski and Ride for a Cure raises hundreds of thousands of dollars a yea
r for cancer research through donations to the American Cancer Society.

Prizes include K2 Skis & Snowboards, Warren Miller DVDs, and Warren Miller and Brundage Mountain hats and logo wear, plus more great swag from local shops and vendors.

Individual registration is $40. Teams of 4-10 participants can sign up for just $150. Once registered, participants will be eligible to purchase that day’s Brundage lift ticket for half-off the regular price for their age group.

“We’re very excited to work with Hope on the Slopes, Ski and Ride for a Cure and the American Cancer Society,” said resort spokesperson, April Whitney. “The vertical-challenge format is a blast and doing it all for such a worthy cause makes it even more appealing.”luckytongue
