Winter Games is a Family Affair!

02/04/09

Winter Games has become an annual tradition for me and my family. My son has competed in the games since he was three years old. He is now 11 and still loves to compete in this no-so-competitive race each year.

My kid is not a ski racer, but is a true ski enthusiast. Most days, he enjoys free skiing with his friends and family, but once a year he puts on a race bib and goes as fast as he can through the gates. It’s always been a very fun day for my entire family.

The Winter Games has always offered my family warm cameraderie with like-minded souls, good-spirited competition, and the opportunity to learn new skills. Oh and let’s not forget bragging rights. It’s so much fun to watch your child stand on a medal podium and have a shiny award placed around their neck!

You don’t have to be a hot shot skier to participate – all you need is a desire to have fun. Catch me & my fam out on the slopes, if you can. Ski Fast or go home is our motto!
